Special Holiday Feature
The Chronicle of the Horse, December 2005
It is a yearly tradition at The Chronicle of the Horse magazine for readers to submit photos of their pets dressed in holiday attire. In 2005, I was assigned the honor of writing a special feature, spotlighting some of the owners and their unique pets who submitted photos most frequently. During my time at the Chronicle, this was one of only a few four-color features published before the whole publication was refashioned in four-color in 2007.

The American Eventing Championships is the United States Eventing Association's keystone event each year, and tyically hosts more than five hundred competitors from across the United States. Coverage of this event is one of the most read of the year. In 2008, during my time as a consultant for the USEA, I was assigned the honor of redesigning and writing the annual American Eventing Championships feature article for the association's magazine, Eventing USA, focusing on ecapsulating the spirit of eventing and the venue in which it is held. It has been my honor every year since then.

Special Issue Feature
The Chronicle of the Horse, September, 2007
When the annual Dressage Issue rolled around, I pitched an article that illustrated the unique experience of creating a musical freestyle, a performance of particular movement composed and completed by a rider and her horse. My background in music production gave the in-depth narrative a unique angle. I was also honored to have created the conceptual lead photograph.
